Room and Guest Guidelines

Maximum Room Occupancy is Four (4) People:

• Three (3) Adults and One (1) Child, or
• Two (2) Adults and Two (2) Children, or
• One (1) Adult and Three (3) Children

Meal Credits

• Grande Lakes Resort Food & Beverage Outlets Meal Credits can be used in all restaurants within the resort facility except for the Lobby Bar. Please note that Meal Credits may not be used for in-room dining, mini bars, or in the Gift Shop, but may be used towards childcare at Ritz Kids. Please note that unused meal credits will be forfeited at the end of the event.

Fitness Facilities

• Instructors and guests will have complimentary access to The Ritz-Carlton Spa’s Fitness Center.

Ritz Kids Program

• Guests with children at the JW Marriott may take advantage (for a fee) of the Ritz Kids program. The Ritz Kids program offers a variety of supervised physical and creative activities designed especially for children aged 5-12. Offering open play, seven days a week, Ritz Kids has something for every child:
• Swimming and Pool Games
• Arts and Crafts
• Playground Play
• Computer, Board Game, and Video Game Challenges

Open Play Daily: Noon – 6 p.m. $20/hour per child.

Kid's Nite Out: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. $80 for each child. A complimentary dinner is included with Kid's Nite Out. Snack and beverages are provided at Ritz Kids.

Lunch and dinner may be ordered upon request at an additional charge (unless child is reserved for Kid's Nite Out). We request that parents make reservations prior to the day children attend Ritz Kids. Meal credits available on Instructor’s room keys may be used towards fees at Ritz Kids.

Extending Your Stay in Orlando at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes

• Reservations for the Elite Retreat weekend nights of Friday, April 13, Saturday, April 14, and Sunday, April 15 must be made through the Elite Retreat Registration website. Reservations for additional nights at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes may (but need not) be made through the website or you may call toll-free reservations at 1-800-576-5720.
• You are more than welcome to extend your stay, either at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes or at another hotel. However, you will be responsible for making all the reservations, for the cost of any additional hotel nights/meals, and for your ground transportation to/from the airport.
• Kumon has blocked a limited number of rooms for three (3) days prior to and three (3) days after the event. The Kumon discounted rate for rooms for the additional nights is $178.88 for up to two adults and $22.50 for a third adult (13 and over) in the same room. There is no additional charge for children (age 12 and under).
