We are pleased to announce two new policies which amount to a "2-Conferences-for-1 Special Incentive" to attend both the 2011 and 2012 Instructors Conferences!

Attend Vancouver and get Free Registration for the 2012 Instructors Conference in Las Vegas!
Any individual who registers for and attends the 2011 Instructors Conference in Vancouver, whether it be an Instructor or a guest, will have their registration fee waived for the 2012 Instructors Conference in Las Vegas.

Attend Vancouver and get Three Nights of Free Hotel for the 2012 Instructors Conference in Las Vegas!
Any Instructor who registers for and attends the 2011 Instructors Conference in Vancouver will receive one free room* for the three nights of the 2012 Instructors Conference (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights) at the brand new, 5-star Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas where the conference will be held. [*The free room rate assumes at most 2 adults and 2 children (under age 18) per room. If a third or fourth adult stays in the room, the Instructor reserving the room will be charged $30/extra adult/night. KNA will cover at most one hotel room per Instructor.]

Registering Vancouver 2011 Conference

Registration for the 2011 KNA Instructors Conference is a three-step process.

Instructor Registration Fees

The Conference registration fee is $150 USD per Instructor. Registration will close on Tuesday, June 14th at 5 PM PST.

Registered Instructors may participate in all conference learning sessions, daytime meals, and evening meals, including:

Admission to General Assembly presentations and self-selected Workshops; breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks on Friday and Saturday.

Admission to the Thursday night Welcome Reception and the Saturday Gala Dinner.

All conference materials.

The Registration Fee is non-refundable once you submit your registration. Registered Instructors who cancel their registration and/or decide not to attend the Conference will be responsible for the full amount of their own Registration Fee and that of any Guests.

Center Visits and Tours

There will be an additional $25 fee to attend a Center Visit.

There will be an additional fee to attend a Tour. Fees vary by tour and average $80 - $110 USD, per tour. The link to book and pay for tours will be available soon. All Instructors will receive an email when the tour site becomes available.

Fees associated with Center Visits and Tours are also non-refundable.

Subsidies for North American Instructors

Travel and Hotel Subsidies are available to North American Instructors provided they adhere to all related guidelines. The Hotel Subsidy is valid only for Instructors who stay at the Pan Pacific Vancouver or Fairmont Waterfront Hotel as arranged through the conference registration process. The Hotel Subsidy will be forfeited if hotel arrangements are made outside of the Kumon room block or if hotel rooms are booked at a different hotel.

Cancellations and/or no-shows will render Instructors ineligible for the Travel and Hotel Subsidies. Instructors are required to attend all core Conference learning sessions (General Assemblies and Workshops) and follow all related policies in order to be eligible for the Hotel and Travel Subsidies.

Hotel Subsidy

Exclusively for KNA Instructors who reserve rooms in the Kumon Room Block at either the Pan Pacific Vancouver or Fairmont Waterfront Hotels ONLY: $100 per night for the nights of Thursday, July 14 Friday, July 15, and Saturday, July 16 (three nights). For those arriving one day early to attend a Center Visit on Thursday, we will extend the subsidy to include Wednesday, July 13 (four nights). For those arriving two days early to attend a Center Visit on Wednesday, we will extend the subsidy to include Tuesday, July 12 (five nights).

Note: The subsidy is available for a maximum of one hotel room per Instructor. In the case of room-sharing, the Instructor who placed the hotel room reservation through the Kumon registration process will have the appropriate subsidy amount credited to their account. If Instructors who share a room wish to split the subsidy, such arrangements should be made among Instructors on their own.

Travel Subsidy

We are pleased to offer a travel subsidy of $100 to $300 per KNA Instructor based on the state/province in which the Instructor’s Center is located.

Instructors from the state of Washington or the province of British Columbia are eligible for a $100 travel subsidy per Instructor.
Instructors from U.S. states west of the Mississippi River (excluding the states of Washington and Hawaii) and from the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and westward (excluding British Columbia) are eligible for a $200 travel subsidy per Instructor.
Instructors from U.S. states east of the Mississippi River, from Hawaii, from the Canadian provinces of Ontario and eastward, and from Mexico are eligible for a $300 travel subsidy per Instructor.

Travel subsidies will be determined automatically based on the address of the Instructor's earliest opened, still operating Center and will be credited to your September monthly statement. There is no need to submit receipts.

All travel-related expenses are the responsibility of the participant. No Travel Subsidy will be provided in the case of cancellation or no-show.

Fees and Subsidies to Appear on SEPTEMBER Monthly Statement

All fees and subsidies associated with your participation in the Instructors Conference will appear on your September monthly statement.

Registration is NOT open to the public.

The Vancouver Convention Centre is a state-of-the-art venue right on the scenic waterfront.
